I've always wanted to go artistic on a guitar. I found one cheap at a yard sale that was pretty beat up, with scratches etc. I thought it would be perfect for this project. I wish I had taken pictures of it before I started, but at least I have the after views. I spray painted the top white, inked the edges with brown stazon and stamped turquoise stazon swirls. I put on a few DaisyD's rubons and sprayed it with clear laquer. Now I have a very swirly, girly piece of music equipment that my family likes to tease me about. Secretly they want theirs done too. LOL.

That is very cool, you have talent and I am not ashamed to admit I am jealous =) You should do it again and sell it, I bet you could get big bucks for something like that! =D
oh my gosh!!! i've been wanting to 'pimp' up my guitar too but I never imagined it could turn out like yours... Would you care to share how you did it??
XOXO

this looks really amazing...I love it when people customize their stuff, but most people are too afraid to alter a musical instrument.

I love this guitar! I wish I had one like it. How long have you been doing art like this?
